This is a Cabinet Card Photo of a young girl with doll. The photographer has done a wonderful job of creating a "white-on-white" contrast for the background. The only dark portion of the entire image is the little girls hair. Very clever of the photographer. Given the scalloped edge of the card, I would estimate the photo was made around the 1890's time period. This image was taken by M.D. Goodlander, a photographer doing business in Muncie, Indiana. ...;The photo measures approximately 6 3/8 inches tall by 4 3/16 inches wide. The photo is in good condition, as you can see. I have no idea who the young girl may be. For the winning bidder, I will also include some historical information regarding the photographer and his family, as a bonus. Please understand, given the age of this item, you are buying "as is."
