CONDITION DETAILSHYPE-STICKER on front. Unopened/new vinyl, factory sealed, and in excellent condition. A few creases near edges. Surface impressions and tiny surface abrasion near top-right where section of shrink is missing. Mild-wear along spine. Minor wear to corners. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORDKaryn White, the self-titled debut album from R&B singer Karyn White went to #1 on the Top R&B Albums chart for seven weeks in 1989. It gave her five hits, The Way You Love Me (Hot 100 no. 7, R&B no. 1), Superwoman (Hot 100 no. 8, R&B no. 1), Love Saw It (R&B no. 1), Secret Rendezvous (Hot 100 no. 6, R&B no. 4) and Slow Down (R&B no. 36). A re-issue in late 1989 of Secret Rendezvous in the UK reached #22, as opposed to the original top 50 placing. Superwoman became her biggest hit there, reaching #11 in the UK Singles Chart. White co-wrote two songs on the album. Babyface, also co-writing several songs, played Acoustic & Electric Guitars, Keyboards; he also provided backing & duet vocals.
