VINTAGE REALISTIC AM POCKET RADIO 12-167 RADIO SHACK TANDY WORKS!! TRANSISTOR SIZE This eBay listing is for a used/vintage Realistic AM only pocket radio model 12-167 was was made by Radio Shack/Tandy Corporation. This is a standard transistor radio size but its solid state on the front. The overall size is 4.25" tall and runs on a single 9v battery (not included - sorry!!). I just tested this out... and it tunes in stations just fine. This has the normal bumps and wear marks consistent with use but no cracks or chips in the black plastic body.
