ANTIQUE CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH 18TH.C VERGE FUSEE POCKET WATCH MOVEMENT.
An antique carriage clock with an English 18th century fusee pocket watch movement. The brass case with access doors front and rear has silvered engraved dial and Roman numerals behind thick bevelled glass. The verge fusee movement is elaborately engraved and decorated. The dial features a lovely engraved swan and the clock sits on four lovely brass feet.
It measures approximately: - 5.5” / 14cm Tall.- 3.5”... / 9cm Wide.- 2.5” / 6cm Deep.
The movement ticks away however there is some chipping to the glass and some knocks and marks commensurate with age.
