Item: Vintage MARX Toy TruckDescription: For Sale is a Vintage 1950's MARX "Deluxe Auto Transport" Pressed Steel Toy Truck. I am not positive about the date of manufacture since Marx actually made at least 3 versions of this toy one that even had a plastic front cab. Some of them, if not all, even came with a pair of cars that sat in the trailer. Plus, they came in a few different color variations. I am confident this color scheme is one of the rarer... ones. It breaks down into two pieces as you can see in my photos. When attached, this toy measures 22" Long x 5"Tall and Weighs 1.15 Pounds. I am sure my photos will best further describe this item. Condition: On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidentlygrade this item's condition to be a solid 7. Overall and Especially for being 55+ Years Old, this Highly Collectible Toy Truck is in "Good" Condition. It is No Less than 90% Immaculate. I don't sell dirty items from my store. If it could be cleaned, it has been cleaned. Why some sellers leave their toys dusty and dirty is beyond me!!! My biggest gripe about this truck is that the "Marx" Decals on the cab are partly worn away on both sides. The Cab itself has Absolutely ZERO Dents/Dings. It is SLIGHTLY open down the middle of the hood but not noticeable nor dangerous (Photo#10). The Original Litho Graphics are at least 80% Pristine. As for the Trailer, there are also ZERO Dents/Dings. It is missing the rear trailer ramp door though. The Graphics/Finish on the trailer is at least 60% Pristine. All Wheels/Axles are there and securely attached. Truly, this one is in great PHYSICAL Condition and its only real flaws are the normal exterior wear to the finish/graphics/paint.
