The brewery was established in 1934 as the Schoenling Brewing and Malting Co; it dropped "Malting" in its name in 1937; merged with Hudepohl in 1986. Can on left in picture: Schoenling Lager Beer; Clean & solid; air-sealed; sharp colors; nominal markings on seam & lids; minor scattered markings on body of can; grade one. Can in middle of picture: Schoenling Lager Beer; Clean & solid; some fade; mostly clean seam & bottom lid, tarnished top lid; extensive scattered markings on body of can. I would assign this can a grade two plus condition rating, but it could easily pass for one minus. An example is pictured on page 132-2 of the USBC book.
