For your consideration is this minty set of stainless steel steak knives that are marked "Viners of Sheffield/Stainless/England" on the blades. They are 8 1/4 inches long, with white, pearloid handles. Since the blue banner in the box states that Viners was "By Appointment/To the Late King George V", who died in 1936, it can be assumed that the set is from the late 1930's. The knives show no signs of use, and the fitted leatherette box, which is 10 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches in size, shows... only light wear around the edges. Buyer to pay the USPS Parcel Select shipping rate for a 2 pound box. Thanks for looking.
