Nuclear War Up for sale is........a Cold War era FalloutShelter Map bythe Marion and Polk Counties Oregon Community Shelter Plan Group.(19”x 29”) Itshows locations to all Fallout Shelters in the two counties, including individual maps for Salem, Monmouth, Mill City, Dallas and 7 other communities. Mapalso includes information about... radiation and fallout, bomb shelters and othertopics, titled such as: · What to do in case of Nuclear Attack· How to Improvise a Shelter at Home· Facts about Fallout and Radiation …and several other topics. Themap was originally mailed to “Occupant, 230 19th SE, Salem Oregon”. Icannot see a date on the postmark, but it is likely from the 1960’s. Thisvintage Fallout Shelter Map is in good condition with no tears or majorflaws. Itis very slightly soiled.Thereare a few places where there are short separations along the main central fold(most of that main fold is secure, and the map is well-intact).
