This is an authentic North African drum. It is marked "Tunisia 1979" on the bottom. It seems to bea clay or ceramic material. Not sure of the material on top and wrap. Has a little weight to it for the size. Weighing approx. 1 pound 10 oz. It measures approx. 4 1/2 tall and 7 in across the top and 2 in at the smallest bottom. In good condition for the age. Please see photos.
