Here is a teal color blob top soda bottle that measures about 7 1/4" tall. On the front its embossed J.J. HOTTENSTINE & BRO ALLENTOWN, PENNA. On the reverse its embossed vertically THIS BOTTLE IS NOT TO BE SOLD. I believe this was made in the 1860s or no later than the 1870s. It has no maker's marks on the bottom of the base. There are tiny bubbles and other small imperfections in the glass that were caused when this was made 150 years ago. You can see... a couple line-like imperfections in my close-up photos of the blob top. Some of these imperfections may look like cracks in my photos but I guarantee are NOT cracks. This bottle is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and only some extremely minor case-wear scratches. About the only issues are just a few mostly pinhead size & smaller fleabite bruises which are mostly just visible around the top lip. Also along the top lip is a small squiggly line that is definitely a manufacturing flaw and NOT a scratch or crack in the glass. There is only some extremely light cloudiness/staining on parts of the interior and exterior. A professional bottle polisher / washer could easily remove all of the cloudiness/staining. Like it is, it still displays really well. Any overly bright spots are just glare/reflections from the light.
