Unusual 1860s "J.A. SEITZ / EASTON PA" Emerald Green!
I know this is a fairly common name but this isn't a common example. Embossing reads: "J.A. SEITZ / EASTON, PA." lettering slanted across the bottom. There's a large fancy "S' embossed on the reverse. Hand blown in a very nice emerald gre...en colored glass, circa 1860s. Has an applied blob top and smooth concave base. We note 3-4 tiny nicks on base edge but nothing else. Good crudity with bubbles, a big top and it's out of round. The shape & color is unusual and not like most Seitz bottles. Non cleaned, as found condition from under the floor in an 1850s home.
