******* 1920s HOHNER SAX ~ Vintage Brass Reed Toy Novelty Instrument Germany ~ Harmonica *******This is a very nice example of this vintage instrument. This Hohner Sax is circa 1920's and measures around 17 1/2 inches in length. It does have some small dents here and there but retains much of it's original golden hue. It's not dark and corroded like so many that I've seen. The neat thing is that it does produce some notes but with some effort. I did find a couple of the reeds that do n...ot work. The instrument comes apart very easily and the reed assembly feels loose like it will unscrew and remove with very little effort. A great item to display or restore to play if that is possible.
