This Ivorex plaque depicts the MARCH OF MYLES STANDISH. Myles Standish had accompanied the Pilgrims on the Mayflower acting in the capacity as military commander for the Plymouth Colony, and remained so for the remainder of his life. The plaque is an unusual size for Ivorex, just 4-1/4" x 7-3/8" and shows Standish leading a column of armed men while being lead or guided on his march by a native. The plaque is in pretty good condition ...with no chips on the frame or exterior, but does have a few minor flakes within the image and are visible as tiny bright spots on Standish and one of his men. These are easily concealed if desired, but I haven't done that.
