We are selling a huge group of original June McKenna Collectibles, fresh from local collector. Featuring here an early piece with remarkable detail. Reclining Santa Claus, titled "Forty Winks", 1991 issue, 527 R, 12-1/2" long. These were handpainted with remarkable skill. Overall excellent condition, minor surface wear. Please look at photos for details. June McKenna is a well known sculptor who has work in museums and the Smithsonian. In the early 1980s she created a hand made line o...f folk art and Christmas collectibles. All of these pieces were hand cast in a wood composition, sealed by her husband and individually hand painted in Virginia.
