The Gallant Men of the Civil War Plate Collection "Ben Hardin Helm" by John Paul Strain. Plate #9506A The Bradford Exchange, copyright 1995. Not for food use. The colors are bright and vibrant in this plate. Finely detailed depiction with historical exactness. My photography does not do it justice. The plate is 8" wide and weighs 1 pound 5 ounces. Eighth Issue in The Gallant Men of the Civil War collection which is produced on hand-fire porcela...in in an edition limited to a maximum of 95 firing days and crafted to the exact standards of The Bradford Exchange.
This comes with a Richfield hardwood collector plate frame which fits an 8 1/8" to 8 1/2" plate. It is hand crafted, walnut stained, hand lacquered with hand applied gold leaf on the inner rim.
