Beautiful 8” by 10” letter written by then Senator Lyndon B. Johnson. The letter is dated June 5, 1952 to the widow of Major William Chambers who lived in Abilene, Texas. Senator Johnson referred to the widow as “Dear Friend” in his personal letter to her.
