This auction is for an ORIGINAL 1897 D M SECHLER CARRIAGE CO HORSE DRAWN ‘BLACK HAWK’ SEED CORN PLANTER POSTER LIKE JOHN DEERE in Moline, Illinois. From researching on Google, it seems that this planter gained popularity before 1900. I am not sure if this should be categorized as a poster, a brochure, or a sign. In any sense, they used it for advertising. It is 16” x 22”. Please note that this has noticeable creases from being folded.
