This listing is for the machine pictured in this ad. If you are interested in buying it please place a bid. I will not respond to questions asking how much or will I trade? I will answer any questions about... the game though in a timely manner.
First, why am I selling. In short money and time. I fell on some hard times and I need the money so a good number of my lesser used toys need to go. And for time, I just don't have time to work on it or have time to play it that often. I'm trying to consolidate my hobbies and I just don't spend enough time pinballing to make owning this worthwhile.
I bought this machine to restore and never got completely around to it. The playfield has been thoroughly cleaned, most of the mechanicals have been repaired. It has a number of toys, a brand new topper, new rubbers, new balls. It still needs some work mechanically and physically but overall is a pretty good machine. When I got the machine the playfield had the usual bubbled graphics on the house and a few of the playfield lights. I put in the playfield repair kits. With the machine off and if you're looking closely you can tell that it's been repaired but at an arms length or with the machine on it looks very good. The cabinet has a few scuffs but is in very serviceable condition. If you want a perfect machine you should buy one of the $10k machines listed elsewhere on here but if you want a solid machine for your restoration project or to do light repairs to just play, it's perfect.
I've added a few toys. . .the bear in the kick ramp, safe, swamp light and a few others (been a long time so i can't remember what's stock and what i added.) I replaced all of the damaged or worn plastics with OEM pieces (except the right side Gomez triangle which has a small chip at the bottom corner. . .I wasn't able to find one of those.)
The machine has 2 mechanical issues: 1. When you have 3 balls locked, the graveyard pop bumpers start popping repeatedly until the ball ends. This doesn't affect scoring and the bumpers still operate correctly. I spent quite a few hours trying to figure out why it was doing this and didn't have any luck. A good pinball tech should be able to fix it for you or if you're handier than I am maybe you'll have better luck. (I'm a mere hobbyist and also broke and can't afford to fix it.) 2. The "thing" popout stopped working. No idea why. It worked recently before I was fiddling with some things. Can't figure out what I did. Again, should be an easy fix for a tech or if you can see what I missed. Probably just a short.
These machines are going for $7-$10k. I think with the condition and needed repairs, my asking price is extremely fair.
If you want to know more about the machine, more about the condition or anything else, shoot me an email and I'll get back to you asap.
Payment required within 24 hours or bid will be cancelled and the item will be relisted.
Thanks for looking!
