This spoon is a 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition PALACE OF HORTICULTURE SUGAR SPOON. Handle obverse has an embossed view of “TOWER OF JEWELS”, “1915”, and “PANAMA-PACIFIC EXPOSITION.” The sugar bowl has a detailed embossed view of the “PALACE OF HORTICULTURE.” The handle reverse has embossed nicely detailed view of the “COURT OF THE FOUR SEASONS”. This silverplate spoon is 5- 5/8 inches long and is marked “1877 NIAGRA FALLS CO.” on center of reverse stem. There is... some light tarnish on the spoon as seen in the photographs.The Panama Pacific International Exposition was a world's fair held in San Francisco, California in 1915 to celebrate the completion of the Panama Canal.
