Auction features a DEPARTMENT 56 VILLAGE ANIMATED ACCESSORY ENTITLED ALL AROUND THE PARK. Set is pretty large and features an ice skating rink on which 7 different figures skate around. Tall lighted tree sits in the center of the rink. Contents include:
PARK SNOW BASE WITH ELECTRIC MOTOR AND SWITCHED CORD7 ANIMATED FIGURES11 INCH DECORATED SISAL TREE5 SISAL SHRUBSBARE BRANCH TREE WITH BIRDS AND SQUIRRELPARK BENCH, BRICK WALLWROUGHT IRON ARCHWAY AND RAILING PLEASE N...OTE IN PHOTOS THAT ONE OF THE STAKES IS BROKEN OFF THAT WOULD FIT THE RAILING INTO THE ARCHWAY. It is not terribly noticeable, but buyer needs to be aware it is damaged.
Other than the stake that is broken on the end of the railing, the rest of the set is in very good condition with no damage or chips to any of the pieces.
The rink works fine and the figures move around on the rink easily without banging into each other. They do have to be set in certain spots on the rink first, but once set, they just keep going until you turn it off. It does not play any music.
Set is in orig. box with orig. styrofoam and it is quite large, so postage could be expensive. Box weighs approx. 5.5 lb. and measures 27 inches x 17 inches x 7 inches.
