Upfor bids is (I think) a Kundu drum from Papua New Guinea. It was acquired from an estate sale a few years ago from a couple who traveled extensively in the Oceania area. I have no idea of its age. It is in great shape--no damage that I can see. The snakeskin(?) covering the top is solidly attached. When played, the drum has a true sound to it. It stands about 30" tall and is about 7 1/2" across the top. It has two handles--one on each side pl...us some other etched decorations.
