For sale is a large Ruppert Beer Lithograph in very good overall condition. This sign measures approximately 36" x 20", Trolley or bus advertising. The brewery has been out of business for over 50 years. "Drink Ruppert for that Smile of Pleasure". The colors in this lithograph are still very sharp and bright. Note in the photos a slight crease in the very bottom left corner (forth photo) and also the top center (fifth photo). Also note the sligh...t staining in the white border at the top (fifth photo). Many of the photos have white horizontal dashes which are NOT in the litho, just a flash reflection.
Ruppert Brewery also has a connection to the New York Yankees. Jacob Ruppert, the founder, also owned the New York Yankees and was responsible for bringing Babe Ruth to the Yankees and the construction of the original Yankee Stadium.
