Rare 1/600 scale plastic model of S.S. France. The S.S.France was in operation from 1962 until 1974 as the flag ship for the French Line. At the time she was the world's longest ocean liner. She was re-christened in 1981 as the S.S. Norway and remained in service in service for Norwegian Cruise Lines until 2003, Unfortunately she has since been scraped. I purchased this model in 1984 at a shop in Southhampton England while working on the ship.
