This is an excellent Stereo card of the great Sphinx and pyramid of Gizeh (Giza), Egypt. It was made by Keystone and is from about the 1910's or 1920's. The card is titled "The Largest Royal Portrait ever Hewn, the Great Sphinx of Gizeh, Egypt." with a Keystone negative number of 8634. This card is in near mint to mint condition and measures 3 1/2" by 7”. The back of the card is blank. I will be listing more Stereoviews on a regular basis, so check back for more views. Stereoviews or stereo cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
Domestic buyers (including Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, APO, or FPO) to prepay $8.50 shipping and handling for insured Priority Mail (mailed in a box) or $4.75 for First Class Mail (mailed in an envelope between two pieces of cardboard).
