Original Description:
This is a very early, pre-1920s Wagner Dutch oven with turtleback lid and “whistletop” knob. Laterovens were marked “Round Roaster” and the later covers have the Zig-Zag drip ring. The cooking surface does has some very tiny shallow pitting from corrosion and some utensil scores. Pot has movement on a glass stove top. No chips, cracks or repairs to pot or lid. 
This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This ...process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Pan is well seasoned with several rounds of seasoning. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
