A fabulous hand woven paisley shawl in a very good condition with no holes.Some signs of thinning in green silk central area, and minor signs of wear to fringe ends.Selvedges in perfect condition.Fabulous colourful traditional early Kashmir paisley, there is a date 1666 and name I can't make out, stitched into the centre how true this is, is anyones guess.This could be a 18th century example.Approximate measurements are 55 inches x 132cm, slightly under 11 feet.Weight 1620kg.See photog...raphs as they are part of the condition report, any questions please email me.Thanks for viewing.
