This clock has been designed to withstand speeds of Mach 3 / 1800 mph (2900 km/h) and heights up to 100, 000 feet (30 km). These reliable timepieces are built to keep time flawlessly while pulling 6G! The built-in 27-volt heater ensures operation even at -60 °C (-75 °F). Each measures approximately 3 inches (8 cm) in diameter by 2½ inches (6.5 cm) deep and is equipped with a two-day / three-day watch movement with 25 jewels... inside an all-steel dust-proof case.
The watches are manufactured at the Chelyabinsk watch factory "Molniya", Russia.In in the USSR, the clock was used for Soviet MiG-23, MiG-25, MiG-29 and strategic bombers, helicopters and transport aircraft. The watch has a dust cover. Glass dome of mineral crystal.
Aviation watches are designed for:- current time in hours, minutes and seconds;- aircraft flight time countdown in hours, minutes and seconds.The duration of operation after the spring is fully loaded is at least 2 days.The dial is made of matte black enamel with large luminous numerals on the watch surrounded by luminous minute / second lines, with an additional Chrono dial at 6 0 minutes and an f l dial at 12 o'clock. The time and flight arrows have a green outline with a fluorescent filling. The second hand is White. The hands of the chronometer are black with luminescence, the minute hand with a shovel tip. The dial is marked in Russian on both sub-dials and stamped "2 days", serial number and letter "B". The case has a diameter of about 85mm (3 3/8") and the watch weighs about 550g (1 1/4 lb).This watch is a fully mechanical, wind-up element. It does not need any EC power supply.
