Antique Rust Craft Victorian CHRISTMAS CARD To My Mother Signed Wreath Snow Gold. This Rust Craft antique Christmas card was printed in Boston U.S. A. As shown. Beautiful card is embossed in gold with raised lettering that states “to my mother at Christmas” it shows a beautiful Victorian blonde haired woman in the snow with a wreath of greenery and Holly berries over her arm and flowing down accented with stripes, swirls and ROZES. She has a bonnet with a beautiful boat that is flo...wing and lots of gold highlights all over the dress. The swirls on the lavender and blue dress are also embossed. There is Holly drawn beneath her in the border and the type of swirling fleur-de-lis framing the wording. There is a small house and large tree in the background as well as a bear in tree. There is a light royal blue ribbon tying all of the pages together. There are a total of two pages. On the inside, As shown there is a very faint discoloration from the ribbon. The words on the inside of the card say “words cannot tell the joy that you bring me, or how your sweet smile makes this guy ever blue, but I want you to know that my Christmas is brighter because of the love of a mother like you.” It is signed Boodie. The card measures five and three-quarter inches long and four and three-quarter inches wide. There is no card. Ribbon is a little curled as shown. This was found in an estate sale where I also found many other Victorian era items such as fashion items and other greeting cards so please be sure to visit my other auctions as I will combine shipping.
