Original Description:
Up for bids is this vintage (circa 1949) NRA first class marksman lapel pin. Earned by multiple state Connecticut state rifle women's team champion Ruth Beck, my mother-in-law. 
It is on the original backing. I'm not sure if she ever wore it or only kept it in her memorabilia drawer. I believe the material is brass as it is not attracted to a magnet.
