A heat sink and ball-bearing fan is installed for active cooling.
Motherboard: This is a rare, genuine Intel i845/855/865G Motherboard features 1 PCI slot and one 1 AGP slot! Perfect for your industrial controller software! Also features a serial port and parallel port. Unit uses a standard PS/2 keyboards and mice. A new CMOS battery has been installed, good for years!Storage & Memory: Storage is provided NEW WESTERN DIGITIAL 80GB IDE Hard Drive with tons of free space! Drive has been verified with Western Digital software and passed. Unit has 256MB of RAM (Upgradeable to 1GB), more than enough for Windows 98SE. (Remember, Windows 98SE was designed to run on 32MB, so 256MB is more than enough. DOS can only handle up to 4MB, so this machine is extremely well equipped for both DOS and Windows 98SE. The 1.44 floppy drive has been verified to be in good working order. Excellent for playing all those classic games!Due to idiosyncrasies of floppy disks/drives, not to mention their age, I cannot guarantee it will read your floppies.
Unit will work with USB thumb drives, for easy transfer of software from newer systems. Please remove USB drives when restarting computer.The on-board 10/100 network card has been installed as well.Multimedia: A fully-functional CD-ROM drive was used as the optical drive. The system also includes an Crystal-based AC'97 16-bit audio card for great DOS gaming experience as well! Digital Audio support. Optical drive is also installed in DOS mode for loading your vintage DOS games! Excellent for running cool vintage games.
