This was my Dad's. He was in the Army Reserves' from late 1950's - to late 1970's. This tripod with case was his and was found packed away in the attic. Sold as is. Item is a US Army M15 Tripod with M42A1 Carrying Case. Stand is 14" tall. Number printed on the stand is 7669718. Metal material. Canvas carrying case. Carrying case has imprinted M42A1.
Legs work, moves up and down in the center. Some tiny paint spots worn here... or there along the edge. Some rust spots on the top where it holds a gun or scope. I think those can be removed with a little elbow grease. Carrying case has a little wear. A couple of tiny spots where threads are worn. Snap works on the carrying case. Overall in nice condition.
