The set does notappear to have been used very much if at all. Description - WildCompasses are not merely chromium plated. They are made out chromiumcontaining stainless steel. Stainless steel is five times moreresistant than Brass or German Silver. Even perspiration and eraserparticles, which so quickly turn any other... metal drab, can notdiscolor chromium steel. The instruments always retain their beauty.The design of the WILD Compasses affords quicker and more accuratesettings because, as the opening of the compass is set, thanks to thecareful adjustment of the leg articulation, there is no lateral playor backlash. The WILD drawing pens are hardened by a special process.They are finished to such a high degree of precision that very fineor heavy lines can be drawn at will without any scratching orcutting, with a perfectly even flow of the ink.
