This charming vintage landscape is an original artwork by a listed Soviet Ukrainian artist Michail Borymchuk (1926 - 2013). This artist is included in ‘Russian and Soviet Painters’ by British scholar Matthew Cullerne Bown. You can read about the artist below.

The painting was acquired from the family of the artist Borymchuk.
MATERIALS: oil, board
MEASURES: 17, 5 cmH x 25, 5 cmW ( 6, 9" x 10" )
CONDITION: good vintage condition. All photos are relevant. You can see the front side and back side of the painting, the edges and corners. Please look at all the photos attentively.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Borymchuk Mikhail was born in the village Popelnya of the Zhitomyr region in 1926.
In 1954 he graduated from Kiev State Art Institute. His teachers were V. Kostecky, J. Stillman, K.
G. Melikhov. He had been a member of the National Union of Artists since 1967.
He had created numerous landscapes and portraits. He permanently participated at the national art exhibitions.
Borymchuk lived and worked in Kiev.
He died in 2013.
