The Rolling Stones 1978 Some Girls (COC 39108) 12" vinyl 33 LP I used Goldmine's record grading guidelines to visually grade the condition of this album. The vinyl itself is in VG+ condition with some scuffs and scratches. It's dark and shiny and none of the scratches are deep enough for me to feel. The original inner sleeve with faces is in VG+ condition with a small tear. The die-cut cover is in VG/+ condition with light ring, edge, and corner wear. There are ...also some wrinkles, a small surface tear and the upper right corner of the front is torn. Remember to look closely at the pictures. This record played through great for me! Iuse Goldmine's Record Grading Guidelines to visually grade thecondition of all the records that I sell. I do the best I can to beas accurate as possible. I'm only human, I'm not a professional, butI feel I grade conservatively and with my own expectations in mind. Pleasekeep in mind that the nature of grading records (both visually andplay grading) is subjective. What I consider VG might differ fromwhat someone else sees as VG. My expectations tend to be high. Irarely grade NM and don't use Mint. Allof my records have been stored vertically and I grade them under bothnatural light and a UV light. They are cleaned with a gentle soap anda soft cloth, then an anti-static brush before playing. I highlyrecommend using an anti-static brush every time you play a record asit really improves the sound. When I do listen to a record I'll putin the Listing Description what I heard.Pleasekeep in mind that I CANNOT guarantee thesound of any used record!Iwash each and every record by hand (whether they look like they needit or not) giving them a good soapy wet wash. I dry them with a nicesoft cloth and bring out as much of that beautiful vinyl shine as Ican.Allkinds of things can be found inside the inner sleeves to make thevinyl dirty. Static electricity is probably the worst since itattracts so many things which can include, but are not limited to, dust, dog hair, cat hair, llama hair, pigeon feathers, and otherdebris. Although we've never had a llama or a pigeon. These thingsall negatively effect the sound of vinyl records. I do have a petfriendly, non-smoking home.WhenI do listen to an album I'll put in the Listing Description how itsounded to me. Rememberto look closely at the pictures. Therecord in the picture is the record that is for sale.Ilisten to as many records as I can, time permitting. I like rock andI generally like it loud. If I grade a record as VG/VG+ then play itand it plays great and has very little to no surface noise, Igenerally go with the higher grade of VG+. I rarely grade a record asNM and never use Mint. Please allow for differences in our equipment, opinions, and our very human hearing. Pleasekeep in mind that I CANNOTguarantee the sound of any used record. I just can't.Allrecords are lovingly packed in cardboard record mailers (by me). Myshipping department (my puppy and me) sees that all items are safely putin the hands of the USPS.
