Scarce 100+ year old Deerfield Illinois advertising plate issued by J A Stryker who had a store next to Deerfield Hotel. The plate is graced with a circa 1905 Howard Chandler Christy illustration "Canoemates". This illustration is also found on postcards of the era and was issued as an art print published by Moffat, Yard and Co. NYC in 1906. The plate measures 6.5" across and the blank was manufactured by Dresden Pottery, East Liverpool, OH.
