A Vintage Chinese Butterscotch Bakelite Mah Jong Set with Case. Comes with Mah Jong Rules book dated with Sixth Impression September 1937, "JA Simpson" is written on the first page. There are 144 tiles plus 4 blank tiles, also 109 coin discs. Photo 5 shows some discs have writing on them and 2 tiles have scratches. The case has wear throughout and the leather strap handle is torn off. The lock is damaged and doesn't work, but it has a key. J. A. Simpson is written on the leather strap ...and the metal hardware is marked with Chinese calligraphy and WOA SHING.
