This is from a very large collection of rare and valuable classical records and tapes that I will be selling over time. Please make sure to check back often, as new items will be posted on a regular basis.
There are a large number of the most sought-after records and tapes, including many, many Decca SXL, Columbia SAX, EMI ASD, RCA SB & LSC, Mercury SR & AMS, as well as chamber music and solo recital albums on Westminster and other ...labels with the Barylli Quartet, Pierre Fournier, Leonid Kogan, etc.
Also a large number of both jazz and classical audiophile reissues, most still factory sealed.

RCA Records stereo RL 42005, red label pressed in Italy (the only pressing of this). "The Spectacular World of Classic Film Scores", with Charles Gerhardt conducting the National Philharmonic Orchestra. Side one is excerpts from other issues in RCA's wonderful "Classic Film Scores" series, side two is material that was never issued elsewhere. See pics for complete program details.
Engineered by Kenneth Wilkinson, produced by George Korngold. Absolutely spectacular sound, listed on The Absolute Sound Super Disc List specifically for "The Thing (From Another World)" Suite, by Dimitri Tiomkin.
Note: there was never an English pressing of this recording. Occasionally, you will see this record erroneously listed by sellers as being an English pressing, because the jackets were printed in the UK and they have the RCA Limited, UK address on the back, but the disc in every copy I have ever seen of this was pressed in Italy by RCA SPA, Rome (who, in fact, made very high quality pressings).
