Here is a superb atmospheric vintage 1930s hand tinted photograph is a steller vintage Seattle Arts pie crust frame. Hand tinted photography was a rage in the 20s and 30s into the 40s before Kodak changed all that fun. Here is two forms of artistry, the photo and tinting and there were shops that had a team of hand tinters turning black and white into colorful images. this image was taken by L G Linkletter, likely from the 1920s. Very wonderful subtle hand tinting of the sky and ocean.... Great frame. Fantastic combination. Wonderful deep image taking any wall and giving the depth of a vista. Wonderful blues and gray green hues to the frame. The image is 17 x 11 the frame 21 1/2 x 13 1/2. Some age wear to the frame. Very nice overall conditon.
