M1 HELMET LINER - WESTINGHOUSE - Virtue Non - Verbis - 308D26

Offered here is a M1 helmet liner
I have limited knowledge of the finer details of M1 helmets, Im not an expert and cant pretend to be one. I mention this in regards to the date of manufacture of this liner. Without a date stamp I cannot say with certainty when the liner was made. It is missing the vent hole on the front forehead area of the liner, but it has the lugs for the leather chin straps and the attached strap for the nape strap. Im going to roughly date it as a post Korea e...ra, and a pre Vietnam era. It is stamped inside with the Westinghouse logo, D and the # 35
When I google searched the Virtue non-Verbis logo on the side it comes up as 108th Infantry Regiment. I am unsure what the rainbow sticker means.
My pictures clearly show the visual condition - I could never describe the item in as much detail as the pictures show, please look at the pictures closely so that you know exactly what you are getting.
A washers are all tight with little corrosion.
Webbing material is not rotted, but is ripped in the front area
Shell is mostly solid but has a large crack in the front
Minimal fraying around the brim.
Paint on the exterior is not original - logos as shown.

Its a tight fit and solid. Item is located in Canada, however I mail your item(s) from my address in the US. I do it this way because if I used Canada Post from my location the shipping rate would be higher, and cross border fees would be charged by the border agencies. I cover the cost of transport to and over the border, as well as cover any import fees / duty. I use USPS so you will be fully insured and tracking will be available once I mail in the US. I travel across the border 2 x each week, so there will be at most a 3 day delay getting into the post. Alternatively if I mailed within Canada to the USA it would be at least a week before the items crossed the US border as customs always delays things. Canada Post will not insure, nor will they provide a tracking number. The way I do it is faster for you, cheaper for you, safer, more private, more efficient, and far more accurate.

International shipping:First Class International: If you do not see your country listed then most likely I will not ship to you as I have have issues with your postal service in the past. I may make an exception if you contact me. Your item will be mailed and insured for the full amount. Please do not ask me to reduce the value for customs; I will not commit that sort of fraud. As well, I insure for the full amount and cannot use a lower dollar value for customs purposes. USPS claims a delivery time of 6 - 10 business days to many major markets; however from personal experience it WILL be longer. Tracking gets updated at all steps of the delivery. I use my US location to initiate the package from because it is less than 1/2 of the cost to use Canada Post.
