Two 5"/12.5 cm tall, 3.75"/9.5 cm diameter silver plated tankards with boar's tusk handles
Base is stamped "P.H.V. & Co Made in England." The silver plate is in very good condition except the left one has a 1.5" section of corrosion on the bottom rim.The left one has some chipping at the tip of the boar's tusk handle, a 1.5" scratch seen in photos 1 & 2 and a small dimple seen in photo 3Although there are not many to be found for reference, most have been polished ...down to their copper base and are in fact listed as copper tankards.To avoid that, I have only gently silver polished them to remove most of the tarnish. I will leave further polishing to purchaser.All photos EXCEPT LAST ONE are of the actual items you will receive.The last photo shows an internet auction page for a similar pair with the matching pitcher.
