Vintage 1950s-60s framed painting, oil on canvas, depicting a young French/Parisian lady, in a mid-century modern style, slightly kitsch, mounted in a traditional ornate gold frame, signed LEROUX lower right, an elusive artist, we could not find any biographical info about him, we did see other similar works by him and signed the same way, reminds me of something you'd see in a Doris Day movie, it's very light and upbeat, measures 13-3/4" x 15-3/4" with the gilt frame; just the p...ainting (sight) 8-1/4" x 10-1/4", good condition, previously owned, from a local estate.
