This listing is for a very rare and beautiful factory original Martin Hard Shell guitar case.
We'll also ship it in a sturdy factory C.F. Martin Guitar Box.
As you can see, it has a very cool vintage style Alligator type tolex exterior with a super plush interior padded/stitched leather handle, antique white stitching, and polished brass plated gold type hardware. There's also a lock on the side to secure your guitar while it's being stored or transported. We don't have the key, but those are often listed on eBay.
This case was made for a 14 fret Dreadnought guitar which has a standard size Dreadnought body.
If you have a 12 fret Dreadnought ( which has a slightly longer body ) we have a case, for that guitar, on another eBay listing.
These Martin cases are very high quality with a five latch design for added protection.
It's very similar to the original vintage Gator cases that they made for Martin in the 1950's and 1960's. Like any used case , this one is not perfect, but it still looks nice. All of the brass / gold colored hardware is still bright and everything works properly. The interior is also in excellent condition, The exterior has some minor dents and dings but nothing major. Otherwise, the case is in excellent condition.
The D28 V Custom Shop guitar etc that's shown in the last picture is for illustration only, and it is obviously not included.
