Hand-carved in the Italian Alps, this wooden diorama 3D shadow box is in the form of a chalet. Lots of character in the carving, construction and miniature pieces. Look closely at the photos to see all of the detail in this little wonder!The vintage diorama is dated 1957 on the back. The label says it was made in the Italian Alps.
The frame measures 11 inches x 9 inches and is about 1 1/4 inches deep.
Ready to be hung on the wall with a hook in back.
This hand-carved pie...ce of folk art is one-of-a-kind, and may have minor imperfections due to its handmade nature and age, but overall it is in really nice condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
