Offered is an original pen and ink drawing of a folk art bird signed by W.A. Moulder sometime in the 1800s. The small drawing was once the page of an autograph album. The calligraphy is strong and beautifully done. This wonderful hand-drawn piece shows a bird with flowing plumage mounted on a feathery branch. The back of the page is blank.Signed:Complim...ents of W.A. MoulderSize of the page is approximately 7 1/2" wide x 4 3/4" tall. The condition is very good overall, with pinholes where the page was once attached to an autograph album and three small pieces of old clear tape on the back. One piece of the tape is placed on the back side over a minuscule 1/4" closed edge tear on bottom margin. (Please examine the scanned photo carefully.)
