Vintage Fender Bassman Amp Cab Cabinet.Very good condition.Shows some age and a little wear but is structurally sound. No cracks or repairs and no rattles! The grill cloth has turned a nice golden brown color from years of cigarette use ( I guess lol) but it is otherwise in good condition. No big holes or rips. The metal parts have aged and oxidized some but hey, this thing is 53 years old.The date stamp reads 606718.The tilt back legs work fine and are a practical way to hear yourself on ...stage without blowing everyone else away.I bought this cab a few years ago. There were some cheap hardware store casters that someone installed that didn’t work so I removed them.It looks like the original amp glides were removed in order to install the cheap casters as you can still see the circular impressions around the remaining screw holes. You can buy new amp glides real cheap or maybe you’d want to install some quality casters. As it is, there are 16 extra small holes on the cab bottom where the casters were ( four for each caster).None of the holes go all the way through the wood. Also, there are a few pieces of loose Tolex on the bottom and there is a missing screw on one of the bottom metal corners. The original jack cup pieces on the back of the cab around the input jack were missing when I bought this cab so these on her now are not original, but newer replacements. Some of the back panel screws are missing ( a common problem with these old cabs) but there are enough screws to securely hold the back panel in place with no rattles or buzzes. You can buy new replacement screws at www.mojotone.com if you like. The speaker wire is not original but it works fine. You’ll just need to solder the the ends to your speakers. All the speaker nuts and washers are included. They appear to be original but it’s hard to be sure. They were there when I got the cab.The original fiberglass sound baffles are missing but I used some polyester pillow fill as baffling and it sounds great. This cab came with two modern Fender Blues Jr. speakers in it but I removed them because I don’t think they’re that great of a speaker and the cab won’t be as expensive to ship with 20 pounds removed. So the buyer can install the speakers of his or her choice. So that covers all the changed parts.Everything else not mentioned I believe to be original. All in all, this is a great cab that is very light (it weighed 50 lbs with the speakers and now wieghs 30 lbs unloaded). The build quality of the 60’s cabinets are unmatched by modern amps and for some reason, it seems most speaker cabs made today are too darn heavy ( just saying).I hate to see this go but I need the $$$.I hope she finds a good home.I have shipped lots of amps and I guarantee safe arrival.Local pick is cool.I live in Columbus, Ga.If you have questions or need more pictures, please let me know. Thanks, Kurt
