A vintage brass 8 x 5 Rapid Symmetrical large format lens made by Ross of London. With 48mm mounting thread. 60mm long. Serial no: 36569. Infinity image focus at 9 inches behind the mounting flange. Also supplied is a leather covered front lens cap.
Signs of age and use with marks to the lacquered brass. Some fine internal dust and a few very light scratches to the front and rear elements.
