This is a beautiful example of a French Air Force Dress Dagger Model 1934 complete with both Hangers, Portepee and in its original Box. The Dagger is mounted with a lovely plain blade that measures 10 1/4 inches in length which remains in near mint original condition. There is a maker's stamp on one side of the ricasso as well as is dated "55" and on the other side wears the Air Force Symbol. The hilt is very simple in design and wears gold finished brass fittings with a dark black blu...e composite grip all remaining very nice in their condition. The gold finished brass fitted scabbard is leather covered and remain near mint in its condition as well. Still present is the beautiful black portepee along with the two hangers with straps all also remaining in extremely nice condition. Overall the Dagger measures 16 inches in length.
