This is a fine copy of a numbered, limited edition 1996 archival release on the UK Tenth Planet label of previously unreleased material by British pop wunderkind Pete Miller, aka Big Boy Pete. According to the record's extensive liner notes, Miller recorded "literally hundreds" of his songs between 1966-69 at his home studio, but only one single, the oft-comped "Cold Turkey, " saw the light of day at the time. This was the first of several releases to mine this archive.&nbs...p; The record's title, by the way, is an allusion to George Orwell's memoir about fighting against the fascists in the Spanish Civil War, Homage to Catalonia. The gatefold jacket is close to new -- M(-). The disc has a couple of dings, and some hairline scrapes and light scuffing, and plays withsome light surface noise -- EX(+). This copy is #860/1000. I’m in the process of selling off alarge personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been storedin plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves havebeen stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwisenoted. If you'd like to order multipleitems, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multipleshipping charges.
