Here is a used but nice Sparta stereo console. The A/AS series was one of their more popular products in the late 1960s and through the '70s. This unit's capabilities include 8-mix, 14-input (stereo); a stereo pan pot (mix 1, intended for microphones), rapid pushbutton selectors, and much more. Note the line transformers and input modules installed internally. The unit is typical of many US broadcasting consoles, with these added mods and options.There is no power supply included, sorr...y. we had more consoles than available PSUs, and the last compatible one was sold - however, the unit was tested to power up at the time a PSU was available. One Sparta reference sheet calls for the PS-7 power supply. I believe most of their 6-pin Cinch-capable power units are adequate, but you may have more experience in this.There are some typical signs of use, tape and label application, some sticky residue that could be polished off, finger grime and wear in the usual contact locations around the board's surfaces, but overall it's in typically good used shape for age and would display very well.
