"Here's How." This very rare signed John Held Jr. cocktail tray has survived extremely well for nearly 100 years since its 1920's Prohibition era, Jazz Age limited production. I have found no other examples of the black tray, which enhances the art deco design perfectly.The artwork depicts a sophisticated, fun-loving Bohemian quartet toasting life, surrounded by 26 cocktail recipes. One includes the 1915 U.S. banned absinthe.See photos for one small repair and one smaller missing secti...on of artwork and slight discoloration of edges. Metal is rust-free and has very minor scuffing and a few very minor scratches. It is in amazing shape for its age. It measures 12.25 inches by 17.25 inches.
